Course Aim | To give participants insight into the concepts underlying ASReml and hands-on experience with ASReml relevant to their own applications. Participants are encouraged to prepare examples they would like analysed during the workshop and forward them before the end of July to Dr Gilmour, so that the course can be tailored to include your examples. |

Day one pm: Simple univariate models
Day two am: Variance Structures
Day two pm: Other topics upon request

Methods of Evaluation | Subsequent to instructor facilitated sessions, participants will be expected to complete example analyses and exercises unaided. |
Training Methods | Formal lectures, ASReml based practical sessions which utilise real data. Participants are encouraged to bring their own experimental data to further enhance practical sessions. |
